Church Buildings

Church Buildings – robertLEEarchitects

Robert Lee has designed dozens church buildings with hundreds of thousands square feet of area and millions of dollars in construction. These church buildings have ranged from elevator and other small additions, to storefront conversions to churches, to renovating worn out churches, to designing new buildings. These church buildings have had sanctuaries with seating from hundreds to thousands.

Robert is one of the few church architects to be endorsed by a denominational leader, be trained by a seminary and denomination to conducted facility consulting, and had a book published on how church buildings can support contemporary ministries.

Dr. Jerry Sheveland, with the denomination Converge Worldwide, wrote the following endorsement:

“He is a wonderful person … I highly recommend Robert to you

as a man of integrity and strong personal faith.”

Church Consultant:

Trained as a church facility consultant by the Denver Seminary and the Evangelical Free Church of America, Robert has conducted dozens of facility consultations. These facility consultations have been for a variety of denominations and church sizes, and throughout the country.

Bob Gilliam with Evangelical Free Church and Denver Seminary wrote of Robert:

“Having consulted with over a 1000 churches, I know most

church buildings designed by other church architects

actually inhibit their use to make disciples.

Robert is one of the only church architects who actually

understands how to build a church building

that helps make disciples.”

Robert authored First Impressions: How to Present an Inviting Church Facility, (Abingdon Press, sold out) to help church pastors update or build new church buildings.

Leith Anderson, best-selling author and recently retired pastor of Wooddale Church in Minneapolis wrote the following endorsement for the book:

“As a pastor who has experienced seven building projects

in less than twenty years, I recommend Robert Lee and

First Impressions. The book marvelously mixes the

practical, technical, and spiritual elements of

church ministry and church facility.”
